A Little Bit of a Rant...
People’s complete lack of knowledge gets me sometimes, especially with health, food, and fitness. Just because it says water doesn’t mean it’s free of calories like normal water. Sobe Life Water and all those other new flavored water things aren’t water. They’re just as bad a pop. Sobe Life Water is 300 calories per bottle. That’s an extra 300 pushups or 30 minutes of free weights. It’s water with sugar and flavoring. Just like pop! And then diet pops; they can cause cancer! How the ******** can anyone give that to their children or even themselves? How could anyone want to induce cancer?! When I was growing up I’d never be able to eat anything at school since the schools I went to served only meat products and offered no substitutes. Kids would always ask why. And when I told them I was a vegetarian they asked why. I don’t like the taste of meat, and proteins; being harsh on the stomach makes me sick. And so they asked why I didn’t get the stuff for lunch and I said (in a sort of annoyed tone), it’s meat. And they weren’t aware that pepperoni was a meat substance, or bologna. How can children be raised on such standards that they aren’t even aware of what they eat. You know that cute little piglet you’ve petted at the petting zoo? Guess what, that’s what bacon is! And that little calf, that’s your steak and beef. There’s an amazing thing when you don’t eat meat. It makes it so much easier to lose weight. And I’m actually able to eat six meals a day, I mean three meals and three snacks. A lot of proteins are so high in carbohydrates and fats…they’re so unhealthy. And the required ways to cook meat releases more carbon monoxide into our air. Carbohydrates contribute 9 calories per gram, proteins contribute 4 per gram, and fats also contribute 4 per gram.
