Our Anniversary.
So yesterday (the 11th) was Max and my second anniversary! We went to the Exploration place in Wichita; where they had the exhibition
Our Bodies: The Universe Within (if you’ve never heard of the guy that does this stuff; I seriously consider looking it up). He plasticizes bodies; my favorite thing at the entire show was the veins all removed from the body, the body cut transversely, and the one where he’s skinned and holding his skin on a coat hanger.
http://www.ourbodytheuniversewithin.com/ Afterwards we went out to eat at a Chinese buffet; it used to be the Jade Garden and now it’s a horribly dressed place called the Chinese Café. They had frog legs! Those were amazingly delicious. Every meat eater I know say things like calamari, octopus, frog legs, rocky mountain oysters…all taste like chicken. But guess what? Chicken is not the universal meat. Frog legs taste so unique; they’re slightly spicy, with a sort of tinge similar to fish taste but not strong, the meat is tender, and it actually did not bother my stomach. I wish I could’ve brought home some amazing pictures but you’re not allowed to take photos in the exhibit area…
But anyways; I got Max a new watch and Zombies on a Plane (
Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane) and he got me a bouquet of colored roses (orange red, pink, purple…) and a Creative Zen.
