I have been delightfully thrilled by the new installment of the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz; Odd Hours. Within the first pages I could almost believe Odd Thomas was a real person who wrote the book; not Dean Koontz. His writing style in this book is so unique; even compared to the other Odd Thomas books. It surprises me how beautifully it’s written; I keep having to check the cover to make sure I picked up a Dean Koontz book. His writing style for this book has taken a turn for the best. It’s written poetically and so descriptive I have my heart racing at every second! If you’ve read the other Odd Thomas books this is definitely one you’ve have to read, I’m only several chapter sin and it’s surprised me so much I believe this may be one of the best Odd Thomas books Koontz has written.
