::Eric sat at his usual seat. The girls hadn't shown up yet and he got some peace from the usual chatter. He loved Candace but when Melissa and Melanie got her talking, especially about Robert Pattinson, who was staring as Edward in the movie 'Twilight' that they are obssessed with, and how they think he's dreamy, things got...annoying. He leaned back, closing his eyes, and let out a long sigh of relief::
::Candace looked around for him from the cafeteria door. She spotted him at the table and lightly jogged over::"Hey"::she greeted, sitting down next to him. She knew Melissa and Melanie would be a bit late since their lockers were all the way on the top floor of the school::
::Eric opened his eyes and looked at her::"Oh hey"::he said, smiling as he kissed her cheek::"What's up?"::
::"Hey, can I talk to you after school today?"::Candace looked around to make sure no one was listening::"It's nothing bad, I just need to ask you something"::
::"Um...sure?"::Eric said, a bit worried and confused::
::"Thanks"::She replied, kissing him on the cheek::
::"Ewwww, PDA PDA!!":: Melissa and Melanie had shown up and began teasing them, playfully, as they always did. They sat down across from the two and took out their lunches. The rest of the period was the same as always: chatter, sometimes interrupted by bites of food. Eric sat there, silent as always since he never really had anything to say on the subjects they discussed::
::He waited for Candace outside the front of the school. He couldn't help but think there was something wrong. She showed up after a few minutes, all smiles as they walked down the steps and up the sidewalk::"So...you wanted to talk?":he said as they walked along::
::"Yeah"::she replied taking his hand::"I just wanted to know what the others think...you know,Chris, Reya, Sonia...I just want to know if they're okay with me 'knowing' "::
::Eric was a bit relieved. He was glad she wasn't breaking up with him, but he needed to choose his words wisely for his answer::"They weren't really excited about the idea when I brought it up...but it's not like their going to attack you"::He smiled at her::"They'd have to take me down first, and I can be a fierce little mutt when I want to"::
::Candace chuckled and blushed at the fact that he'd be willing to give his life for her::"Well...I was worried about that...but I was more worried about you...I hope you didn't do something you weren't supposed to when you tell me"::
::"Nope, everything is okay...it's not like they excommunicate you for telling a 'trust-worthy' person"::he smiled again::
::Candace's cheeks became darker as she blushed more. Her hands became warm and Eric could tell she was a bit embarrassed, but in a good way::
::They arrived at Candace's house in no time. Eric walked her up to the door::"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"::
::"Yeah"::she said, before they shared a kiss goodbye. Candace walked in the house and went to her room. She smiled, sighing absent-mindedly. As she sat on her bed, she looked out the window to watch Eric cross the street and walk down the street to his house a few blocks away::
