Random stuff I feel like posting.
Teen Titan Fanfic- Prologue
Prologue-

The night seemed eternal through her eyes. Everywhere she turned, there was deeper crow black darkness, and his menacing laugh was still echoing in her ears. Her head pounded as much as her heart raced. She was scared out of her wits, and there was nowhere left to run. Every one her muscles burned with excruciating pain, they couldn’t go on anymore. Her faint and shallow attempts for breath, her dilated pupils, and not to mention her various battle wounds were signs of the end. “No . . . I can’t lose my life here, I haven’t won, not yet.” She harshly whispered to herself. Her breath quickly turned into gasps for air. She had to stop here. She knew she would die if she took another run for it. Without even taking a second-guess she slumped to her knees, her hands on the ground. She couldn’t take this pain, this horrible, horrible pain. She wanted to cry out, she wanted to yell his name with all of the frustration she could . . . she wanted him dead. “I swear, even if I die trying, I’ll kill you!” she screamed, her hands gripping the blood-stained ground with rage. She tilted her head up and stared out into the dark, her eyesight blurry with angry tears, and to her surprise, someone stared back.
“Well, well, if you’re going to try, why don’t you come and get me?” a stern and cunning voice called out. The area of black that the young woman stared into suddenly lit into a fiery inferno of the deepest blood-red, and a second later, a man stood there. His uniform blended in with the dark night, only the moonlight-glinted metallic armor on his torso and shoulders stood out. What seemed to be the rest of figure’s muscular body, not including his head which was covered by a leather hood, was covered in a series of glowing red marks. The girl’s instinctive anger towards this man suddenly went into action, and a crackling sphere of dark energy formed in her palm.
“My whole life I’ve despised you, and this time, I’ll finish it once and for all!” she cried out, and with half-a-second’s notice, she ran forward. She pulled the ball of energy behind her, building momentum for the right attack. She closed her eyes, waiting for the sphere to impact the man’s body as she raced forward. At the final second she flung her arm forward, and heard the crushing blow against the man’s body, the sphere digging into his ribcage. She heard him yell out for a second, and she opened her eyes again. She gasped with disbelief, she had missed him completely. Instead of his body, she had crushed a large boulder that was behind him.
“You missed me. It’s hard to believe that after all of this time, all this “training”, you still can’t hit me Raven, it’s pathetic.” The voice told her, and as she spun around to where the voice was coming from, he stood there with a grin on his face. “It’s my turn now, let’s see how you defend yourself.” He told her, and before she could even breathe again, he threw a punch to her gut. She curled over, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth, her eyes wide. Her reaction time was slowed from the blood loss, and her vision was fading again [from the few times she had almost fainted from the fatigue].
“You . . . you animal . . .” she heaved, as another bubble of blood burst from her mouth. She wasn’t going to make it. The man in front of her grinned with excitement, his eyes shining with satisfaction. He obviously was enjoying this, watching her die.
“Hey, it’s in my nature,” the man remarked with a sly smirk. He put a hand on the girl’s head, and her face instantly collided with the cold soil. The blood from her multiple cuts mixed in with the dirt, turning it dark brown, almost black. She tried to push herself up again, her arms shaking from trying to find the bit of strength she hadn’t already used up. She couldn’t manage to pull her whole body up again, she was finished. She only turned her body so she was now on her back, staring into the heartless, hateful, blood-red eyes of her brother Rage. She closed her eyes, as if she could numb the pain if she didn’t see it. “This is the end Raven, it’s too bad it couldn’t have been a challenge,” Rage sighed. He pulled a dagger out of his back pocket, and . . .
