Saturday we (mom, Timothy, and Frederick) went to Wichita to pick out a Bearded Dragon. We went to Petland and their babies weren’t deformed or missing any limbs at all. I mean maybe Tail & Scales is okay… for feeder creatures. But they sell baby bearded dragons for $60 when I can get a perfectly fine bearded dragon baby that’s healthy, has a tail, all of its toes and feet, usage of all of its limbs, and perfect sandfire coloring. I got (what I believe to be) a male baby beardy for $80; he’s only 3 months though but I think he’s great. He’s so cute and I love him already. We only have him in a 10 gallon at the moment but we intend to build our own (hopefully) fifty-five gallon tank soon. The roads were terrible going up to Wichita there was such a bad snow storm. At times the wind made it almost impossible to drive at all. And then the snow falling and blowing would be so thick that we couldn’t see the hood at all. So many people don’t know hoe to drive in the snow…oh it’s so terrible. One person we got stopped behind had hi car stuck in a snow drift and was laying on the gas attempting to back up and finally when he got out he let of the break and would immediately slide right back into the same spot. And while we were stopped behind him some douche pulls up and tries to merge in front of us (we’re not moving so it’s not really merging I suppose) and then he realizes “oh a car is stuck here and they’re not just choosing not to move.” And the idiot slams on his breaks (BIG NO NO!) and starts sliding and spinning, he missed us by 6 inches! We left at 10:30 AM and got there at 12 PM. When we finally left town at about 4:45 PM there was such terrible traffic on the interstate. They hut down the whole highway and made everyone get off the toll road. When we finally made it even off of the 47th street exit it was 5:30 PM. The cops were idiots (as always)! Once a semi truck has stopped on a slope going upward then it’s hard to impossible to restart. And so the cops have this semi stopped and then find out “oh, gee, the semi can’t go” and so they make all of the traffic go back and the semi had to back down the slope until he hit the flat part of the road to get a running start on the hill. And while the semi is backing down the slope one of the troopers started to direct traffic to go up the slope where the semi was backing down! I hate cops a lot of the time… well all of the time. Finally when we got home it was 7:30 PM. It sucked and you know what we did in the city would have normally only taken maybe an hour and a half. But instead it took about 9 hours!
When we get home I fed my fish and then we’re there setting up the habitat for the bearded dragon I go and look at my fish and I see my cute little Guppy and his tail is gone! Not like in shreds but entirely gone! There are two humongous bites taken out of his tail and visibly bites! I felt so bad the poor thing was so smart about avoiding the fish from killing him and the poor little guy has gotten his tail bitten off! I don’t know if it’s the catfish or the knife that keeps killing fish. Most likely the catfish but see my betta didn’t lose his tail until I put the knife in but a guppy had been eaten before the knife and shrimp also.
I finally saw the finale of I Love New York 2 and she chose the little b***h. He’s short, is balding, and a little p***y b***h. He lets her slap him around and when she does he acts like the abused little puppy. And then he cries; he’s about what? Early to mid forties and he’s bawling like a little baby?!
I feel so tired…I feel like I’m drunk, high, in a trance…I don’t know just so ******** out of it. I can’t sleep day after day and I’m slowly winding down to a deep sadness. Max is never here and I’m afraid…of life. I hate being alone.
Christmas Eve my Grandfather and Grandmother (not the crazy one; this is her ex-husband and his wife) came to visit and drop off some Christmas presents. I got this adorable knit sweater-hoodie it’s really cute but extremely hot to wear it’s made of acrylic and it’s this bright fuchsia-pink color.
On Christmas we were all up until about 4 AM getting gifts all ready. Max, Mark, and my mother were up until 3:30 putting together Frederick’s three-wheeler and then they had to finish putting the gifts under the tree and the rest of the stockings had to be done. I really didn’t expect anymore gifts except maybe one or two small items in addition to the stocking. But from Timothy and Frederick I got a Starbucks gift set that included two Frappuccinos one was Caramel flavored and the other Mocha, it came with a medium-sized bag of House Blend ground coffee, a large bag of Shortbread Cookies (they’re delicious), and a Starbucks coffee mug. Along with that I got another medium-sized bag of teal and purple colored aquarium gravel, a Whisper water filter (with a pack of filters), a Whisper heater, a large aquarium driftwood formation, a box of aquatic plant seeds, a 10 gallon aquarium light fixture hood, and a fat penguin massager all from Max. Then from my mom I got the hardcover complete edition of the Gunslinger Born (the graphic novel/comic book of the Gunslinger series), and a DVD of Pan’s Labyrinth with a free ticket to see The Golden Compass. And from Mark I got the hardcover version of A Lick of Frost. From “Santa” I got a stuffed animal penguin that’s holding a snowflake that says “Jolly” on it, a set of four penguin ornaments that have dangling feet that kind of “dance”, a roped bath scrubber (I don’t know actually what to call it) that’s a giraffe with the neck as the scrubbing part, and a little calculator that’s in a round box that opens up with a mini pen on one side and a small calculator on the other. It’s pink and black checkered with skulls and butterflies in the black squares. Later on Christmas we went to Charlotte’s house in Winfield. Apparently Charlotte now has a boyfriend. His name is Everett, I’m glad she seems much happier now. From Charlotte I got a cosmetic purse that’s red with a raised floral design on it and a snap closure. It had ten dollars inside. Also I got a pencil with penguins all over it. And then from Sandy I got an ornament of a little snowman inside a paper bag. It’s really cute.
