Hair: Knee length blood red hair (normally kept in a braid)
Skin: Unusually pale skinned
Body Built: He has a thin built, in an almost feminine manner even though he has nice built chest if in robes he could pass for a woman. As a demon he does have the stereotypical large bat wings that drapes around his shoulders like a cloak. These wings are red like his hair.
Other nickpicky body details: Uriel has long fingers, the kind good for certain instruments, or as he claims the fingers of an artist. Speaking of fingers, he likes to do henna drawings on his hands, though if he’s really bored it he can do it all the way up his arm.
Occupation: Potion Master, ex-teacher, shopkeeper
Likes: Shinies (he’s a magpie), magical objects, playing with people’s heads that deserves it, fulfilling desires, and sweets.
Dislikes: Disrespectful people, sad women, sad children and rats (because rats are icky)
Hobbies: Playing with people’s heads, wood working, flute, and flirting
Clothing Preference:
He prefers pants, nice soft breeches that look good because he likes to be comfortable, black is preferable, brown is okay, blue maybe. He likes old fashion tunics that are obviously too big on him, gives him a wide chest area to show off skin and whatever necklace he’s wearing. Tie up shirts in the front are good too, in white, blood red or black. He only wears vests on special occasions.
About:
Uriel is a demon of the humanoid variety who hails from some dimension in the fourth plane of existence. Why did he decide to come to Gaia? Because he thought it would be fun, Uriel’s people are generally the stereotypical demon, mean, violent and love of blood and gore. Uriel on the other hand prefers a bit of class and prefers rather to mess with people’s heads. He’s also a hopeless soft hearted man with the brain of a magpie at times (most of his income goes towards clothes and jewellery… and sweets). He likes to dabble in all sorts of magic that involve objects and believes that sweets can solve anything.
It does not mean however Uriel doesn’t have a violent side; he does, and is just as brutal as any of his kin. He just kind of made a deal with his violent side he would give any murderers, rapists and other unsavoury sorts to it if he hadn’t given them some sort of dangerous magical object first. Yes, there is literary another side to Uriel that is a different person, no, he is not a mental case. He just simply messed with sort of magic along the way as usual.
Once the Potion and Summoning teacher at a magic school, Uriel has long since retired to run a shop where he is the mysterious shop owner. How of this is an act is unknown, but he seems to have fun selling his wares. His claim is that he sells the desires of others…. In a bottle.
Comments:
Well besides being crammed with a few references here and there, Uriel's character is somewhat fashioned after Kara's Aaya and Fayet, the two most insanest characters she has ever come up with, however I threw in my own bit of dark blood and gore into it :B . Which is how we get Uriel... Uriel (provided the site I use for my names is not horribly wrong), is one of the seven arch angels (though another site says his name was taken off the list). Considered one of the wisest, he is the angel that represents magic, alcemy, writing and disasters tend to be link to him too. Ether is one of the five elements from which period now slips my mind.
The teacher reference is a joke to how a lot of characters are linked to 'Kara Winters' the character, and yes... Uriel taught Kara potions the poor man, I wonder if she never set his hair on fire before.
The scrolls is actually a magic I made up (but probably does exist in some sort of anime I have not run across). I'll expand on that use more, but I doubt he'll be getting into any fights. His use? He doesn't have one... yet.
