About:
There is probably no one more in love than Yuki Saga, the man who once told his love, “If you must be the prince to end a nightmare, I shall be the helper maiden until the spell is over.” Must to the shock and perhaps to the dismay and amusement of his parents Linda and Dai Saga, Yuki did just that. The son of two acrobatic stars, like Tristan it was believed that he too would spend the rest of his life as a performer.
The two dancers grew up as childhood friends, being obsessed over fairytales seeing as that is what their parents’ stage always performed more often than not. By the time Tristan was thirteen and Yuki was sixteen they performed for the first time as prince and princess, and continued doing so ever since. When Tristan left the stage to enter into one of the three Celestial Teams, Yuki could not follow. Not that he lacked the gender requirement, but rather he had no experience unlike Tris who had at least some. Instead he dressed up as a female, to pose as Tristan’s girlfriend, fuelling the persona of the Petite Prince with late night stays that did not go anywhere.
Still, he was not happy to sit in the sidelines and over the course of a year he perfected his ability to act, switching genders if needed be to provide information, or access for Tristan’s team. Circling the darker sides of the city, Yuki learnt to always be on guard and later took up knives as his choice of weapon. When the council allowed females to join Yuki immediately applied, by this time Tristan’s team mates already knew Yuki as the little birdie that twittered in their leader’s ear. Now officially part of the team, Yuki is a trusted member more so than Tristan’s second in command. Rumour has it on the street that the Petite Prince as a pretty swan near by who will attack anyone who is a threat to her prince.
At the current moment Yuki is under cover as a library assistant, his job as a college researcher, helping deal with the library’s electronic information. Though rumour has it that Yuki does more with the computer library than just sort data.
Comments:
Yuki is the counterpart of Tristan and for those who have read W Juliet you now know why they are inspired partly by it. Yuki’s personality to a point strikes me as a bit easy going, probably the person to inject a bit of humour into a serious situation. His role is probably similar to Puck, he acts like an idiot, but underneath he is serious and dangerous. Like Tristan his role as an informant rather than a fighter is more important as he can’t do the former very well. He can fight better than she can, but only if he has the surprise, and he does base a lot of what he does on stealth.
He does tend to make a lot of references to fairy tales which makes you think he’s not serious, but he knows it is. Yuki is to a point loyal to a fault, and if it were anyone else but Tristan I would worry. He’s the person who actually comes from a wealthy family, since performers can be like stars really.
He’s a bit of a strange character and knows it, in terms of Lore himself. These two together probably give Lore the all knowing look, because they’re already in love, have been for quite a long while.
