We've all been there. Let's face it, some of us have some pretty... ordinary lives. And we want to make them sound more interesting, but you don't want to do anything all that illegal, or stuff that you're scared of doing. Well, I've found a way to make your life SOUND more interesting when you're having a conversation with someone.
If you're a gamer, or at least play video games, one way I've felt made my life sound daring and exciting is by just taking away the "I'm playing video games part" in a sentence and keep the rest. Observe the conversation I had with my mother last week:

Mom: "So, how was your day?"
Me: "It was okay I guess. I went to school... had a Math Exam today... the rest was pretty standard. Then I came home and had to go save the President's Daughter from some crazy zombie cult. It's not easy, I'll tell you that. Damn guy with a chainsaw tried to kill me... **Sighs** everyone outs to get me in the countryside of Spain."
Mom: "**Sweatdrops** Wow. Poor you. O.o;"
Me: "I guess. Well, I do you mind if I'm excused?"
Mom: "Have to go blast some more people's head's off?"
Me: "EXCUSE me, but they started it first."

Yeah. Of course, if you don't want such a violent sounding life, then there's always a more suttle game. Another example with Harvest Moon

Me: "NOOOOO!!!! You liar!!!!"
Mom: "Are you alright?"
Friend: "Yes, yes. Don't worry."
Me: "She's accusing my wife of cheating on me!!! **Sobs**"
Friend: "Well, you're always gone, and Mary always seems to be doing the same thing all the time. Not to mention that time you couldn't find her, also I heard the Mailman fancies her..."
Me: "But-but! What about little Takato?? He's our son! And it's not like I'm gone all the time! I'm on the farm frequently!"
Friend: "That's what they all say... and then your marriage breaks down."
Me: "At least my wife DOES something!!! Unlike your Popuri who never does ANYTHING, even when she says she does."
Friend: "Dude, don't go there!"
Mom: "Right... I'm leaving now. And don't forget to tend to your animals."

So yes, whenever you feel that your life isn't quite interesting, just remember that you have another life... though it's not necessarily real.
