I didn't know they offered such a course in college, see that half of us are 'underage'. Still, that's what I got preregistered as a complementary course, and that's what I'm taking. For who knows when learning how to make wine and grape juice!
Actually, my mom said it could come in handy if I ever wanna do those working holidays overseas, and I do, so I guess it's all falling into place. ^^
Do you ever feel though that you wanna do so many things in life, but you just don't have enough time or the money to do it? Yeah, I'm kinda feeling like that. For instance, I want to become an animator/ character designer. But, I also want to travel the world and do a bunch of odd jobs like Teaching, farm work, bartending, blah, blah blah. I wanted to take a year off and teach in Japan, but then I found out I need some sort of bachelor's degree in anything. Darnit. >.<; I thought we just needed to take a special course or something. Ah, well. I think maybe working on a rice farm can be cool. When I wen to Japan, my tourist guide said that he owned a rice farm and someday he wanted people from overseas to come and work for a few months and do the whole 'Japanese experience' thing. Hell, I'd definantly be willing to do that. I really want to work on my Japanese. >.<; I find it's harder to do it here, because hardly anyone speaks Japanese, so you can't really practice it. ^^;; Still, I'm working on it.
Then I also want to travel to Europe and Oceania... I figure I could work as a bartender in Ireland or Scotland or something according to my book. Convieniently enough, at the beginning of the school year, they offer a bartending course for those 18+. I couldn't this year because I was 17, so I think next year I'll try it out. ^^ In New Zealand and Australia, I'll probably do more farmwork. I'm not entirely unfamiliar with farmlife. For a few summers when I was young I use to stay on a tree plantation and helped out there. I also learned how to horseback and tend to horses, though it's been awhile, but it can't be that hard to re-learn.
I of course have to travel across my own country as well. I must dance and sing with the east coasters! I must Really see how flat the prairies are! I must go and bask in the warmth of Vancouver! And I must see how the other northern areas live compared to my hometown! I must climb the rockies, leap from tree to tree, learn every dialect, and eat tons and tons of syrup and seafood (not nessarily together. O.o ), and most of all, I must see if they have poutines in other provinces and territories.
I'm not stopping there, either, no sir! I still need to experience the life of an old fashion pirate (somewhat), and I must own a bakery. WAIT! I shall have a bakery on the pirate ship! YES!
Then there's Martial Arts. Yes... many martial arts to learn! I'm obviously going to continue my Karate, but I also want to learn Iaido, Kendo, Judo, Aikido, European fencing, Kung Fu, some sort of Korean Martial Art, Muay Thai, and and... I dunno! Just so much to do!
Then there's dancing. I must continue my Latin Dancing and Swing! I must get better at those!
I know I'm probably sounding rather insane right now, but it just hit me now that there are so many things I want to go out and do. Go-go go!
Wow... I just had Dean Moriarity moment. I now get it! It makes sense! Holy Moly! That book, it was about the parties and the booze and the drugs, it was about just going out and doing stuff! Woo-hoo!
Then again, I'm not going to do this all at once either. If I do, then I'll have nothing to do after! Nope... I'll take it one step at a time. Pace myself. Yeah! This is great! I feel like I really can do stuff! School, travel, work, everything! I can do this thing somehow!
I'm just so pumped right now! Yes! This is just kickass! And now... I have to clean my desk! YES! I'll do that right now! I hate cleaning, but who cares! I'm going places someday! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
