Chapter 9

We reached the last floor of the hospital and ran outside. There was a big fight
with humans and half-animals. I thought some were dead, but they moved
a little. What caught my eye was a little fox girl fighting a soldier. I had to help
her. I ran behind him and clawed his back. He screamed at his pain, and I kicked
the back off his legs and fell on the floor. He moaned a little.
"Thank you for helping me! Can you help me find my mommy?" the little fox
girl asked.
"Sure, what does she look like?" I asked.
"Sure has long black hair. She looks like me." the little girl said.
I started to look around, I saw Max trying to help other people. I also saw
a Mother fox trying to look for something, or someone.
"Get on my back." I said to the little girl.
She climbed on my back. Her sharp claws dug into my back, but it didn't
really hurt. I ran with a little fox on my back and toward the direction of
her mother. We were almost there, until a soldier came in front of us. He tried
to punch us with his strong fist, but i duck down, and kicked his knees. He got
off balance.
"Go to your mom, she's right there." I said while pointing my finger to her mom.
She ran toward her mom. When she reached her, they both looked happy and
gave each other a hug and ran to safety. I was happy. Then to soldier got his
balance back and gave me a kick in the stomach. I was in a lot of pain.
I fell to the ground. I almost tasted blood coming out of my mouth. It was hard
for me to get back up my feet because of the pain. I got up slowly, but more
soldiers came to fight me. But the good thing is that more animals came.
Including Max and Piper. Then a white tiger took me to safety by the side of the
hospital behind trees and bushes. When he took me by the side, there were
more animals there too. Some were shot.
"Just rest here. For at least 5 minutes or 10. Please." said the white tiger. I nodded.
I got up about 2 minutes, then went back the battlefield. I was looking for Max
and Piper, but I couldn't find them.
"Rachel! Where are you?!?!" someone screamed.
I think it was Max. I found him. He was in front of the of the door of the hospital.
I ran up to him, and he gave me a hug.
"Are you okay Rach?" Max asked me.
I shook my head.
"I was kicked in the stomach, but I'll be ok. We need to stop this war, and I think
I know who. Find all the animals that can roar, we're going to scare them away."
I explained.
Max nodded his head. I gave him a smile. Then he ran to find animals that can roar.
I saw Piper fighting 3 soldiers. Alone. I ran to her side and more 2 animals came to
help. Then all the soldiers took out guns and circled all 4 of us.
Then the biggest soldier said,"you are all now prisoners of the organization, The
Snapshots."
Then we all heard a huge roar from the roaring animals.
"One more time!" Max screamed. He was a good leader. [xD]
They gave it all they got and a big roar came out of their mouth. Only a few
soldiers ran, but the circle of soldiers that trapped us didn't move a mussel. They
pointed the gun barrows on our backs for us to move in a white van. They even
hit ours backs to move faster. Max saw the soldiers taking us for captive.
"Everybody get them! They can't take them!" Max screamed to the big group
of animals.
Then all the animals obeyed and started to run to us. The soldiers weren't paying
attention to us, so I ducked down and kicked the biggest soldiers in his stomach.
He roared and fell to the ground. Then all the other soldiers started to look at me.
"The rest of you, go before they get you!" I said to the 3 animals.
Then they all started to run out of the van. The the soldiers that were standing,
started to stare at me. At least it's me and not them. Then Max came up and bit
the soldiers side, and so did other animals too. Max came up to me.
"Are you ok? Did they hurt you?"
I smiled and said," No, I'll be fine."
He smiled. The best thing that happened is that the battle in front of the hospital
was finally over. Everybody was happy, and cheered with glee. As they were cheering
I went to my hospital room and took a plastic bag and bought 30 water bottles.
It made me broke, but it was worth it. I also took the candy and put it in the same
bag. xp
