Chapter 22

Max, and I were following Terry to where my father was.
"Rachel, stop." Max told me and I stopped running. So did Terry.
Max gave me a knife.
"Keep it so you can protect yourself. Terry and I are going to go in the room
where your father is. If anything goes bad, take the knife, and stab him." Max
explained.
"But why me?"I asked.
"Because I know inside that you don't want to see your father die. Or be the
one to kill him." Max told me.
And he was right. I didn't want to see my dad die. Or want to kill him. Even
though he did treat me like crap. So I just nodded my head and took the
knife. Then we started to run again.
"There is is!" Terry told us.
There was a 2 big doors. And my father was in those doors.
"Rachel stay here."Max told me.
"No! I'm going in, I can't be without you again." I told him.
As much as Max didn't want me to go in, he just nodded his head.
We all took a deep breath.
"Is everybody ready?" Terry asked.
Max and I both nodded. Then we all entered the room.
