Chapter 17
(Max's point of view)
It's been already 3 days without Rachel. It's been really quite with out her. I miss her. I only
have to wait for 2 more days, and I'll save her. Hopefully, she hasn't gave up on us yet.
Piper and mom has been crying a lot lately. Piper was really close to Rachel. It's like
Rachel had the little sister she never had. Rachel also has been good friends with everybody. So everybody has been sad and
depressed. We all been practicing extra hard the past 3 days. And yet, we couldn't find
anyone to help us with the plan. So it's just us. Good thing mom has been to Rachel's dad's
organization, because she made us a map where to go. We all think we know where
Rachel is.
(Rachel's point of view.)
[Dreaming] "Max! Don't leave me!" I said. I was still in the same cell.
But he didn't look at me. He was walking away from me. Farther and farther. And then,
a pretty girl appeared and grabbed his hand.
"Don't worry Rachel, I will never leave you."Max said and hugged the girl.
"But Max, that's not Rachel! I'm right here!" I screamed.
But he didn't even looked at me. But then the girl said,"I'm Rachel now." And she started
to laugh. I just started to cry. And both started to walk away. And started to fade away.
"No, Max! Don't leave me!"I screamed and fell to the floor crying.[end of dream]
"Wake up Rachel! Your having a nightmare!" Chance said to me.
"Yeah Rachel, wake up!"Ren screamed at me.
I woke up.
I sat up on my bed and scratched my head.
Chance was the lion on the right side of my cell, and Ren was the bunny on the left side of
my cell. Chance had short blond hair, and light gray eyes. Ren had short brown hair, and
brown eyes.
"Are you okay?" Chance asked me.
"No." I said quietly.
"Was it the same dream about this Max guy?"Ren asked me.
I nodded my head.
"Don't worry, he'll be coming for you soon."Ren told me.
"Yeah. Don't worry. Your actually lucky that somebody is going bust you out. I've
been here for 2 years."Chance said.
"I've been here for 3 years."Ren told me.
"I feel like a brat.But Max is going to come free all of us. If he does come."I told them.
I got out of bed and started to brush my hair.
"Hi Rachel." someone said. It was Terry.
"Get away from me."I told him while looking in the mirror.
"Come on, I need to take you somewhere."Terry told me and opened my cell.
"Where are you taking her?"Chance asked.
"None of your business."Terry told him.
"She's our friend, so it's our business."Ren told Terry.
"Just shut up and stay here."Terry said to both of them.
"Where are you taking me?" I finally asked.
"Some where."He said annoyed.
He put my shackles on and grabbed my arm and lead me wherever he was taking me.
Terry took me to the same whitest room I was in when I was 12. He took me in the room and
took off my shackles.
"Why did you take me here?"I asked.
"They're going to take some blood. If you behave, they won't have to give you a shot to
make you go to sleep and take the blood while your sleeping." Terry explained.
"Why are they going to take blood?"I asked and rubbed my arms.
"For testing.I know, those shackles damn hurt." Terry told me.
"Yeah, whatever. I'm use to the pain you give me anyway." I told Terry and sat on the
white bed.
He just stared at me, it looked like he wanted to say something, but no words came out. But he just left the room. He also closed the shades. After minutes sitting
here, I remembered the exit Max made long ago. So I went under the bed, but there
wasn't a hole anymore. They covered it. So I just stayed under the bed until I heard
someone come in. I tried to stay quite. I wasn't going to let them take blood from me.
"Rachel, where are you?" somebody said. I saw his shoes walk in the door.
"Come out, I don't want to give the sleeping shot." he said.
I didn't answer. I saw his shoes come closer to the bed. When he got too close to the bed,
I dug my claws into his legs. He hissed and fell to the ground.
"Help!"he yelled.
Four guys came in, including Terry. They would be a lot harder to take down.
One guy ran after me and tried to grab my arm. And then another guy came to help him.
All I did was try to run to the door. It worked. The was a soldier and I saw he
had the cell keys. I grabbed the keys and pushed him to the ground. And then, I ran for
the cells. I ran to Ren's cell and I unlocked her cell. Then I went to Chance's cell and did the
same as well.
"Run!" I told them both. Then we started to run.
Guards started to chase us. Terry tried to help too. Terry caught Chance's foot and
they both tripped. I stopped and helped Chance get up.
"You two, just go! I'll hold them back as long as I can, Just GO!" I screamed.
Then they both started to run.
"Terry, let them be!"I asked me.
He stood up and said,"Fine, but we have to take more blood than we need from you."
I nodded my head, and Terry grabbed my arm.
"Let them both go, we'll just take more blood from her." Terry explained.
Then the soldiers just nodded their heads, and went back to what they were doing. Terry
started to walk me back to the white room.
"I have a question."Terry asked.
"What is it?"I asked concerned.
"Why did you save him, when you could of saved yourself?" he asked.
"Because I felt sorry for him. You kept him in this place for 2 years, and I only been here for
3 days."I explained.
He nodded his head. We got to the white room, and the guy I clawed was in the room
with shots. Terry walked me to the bed and lay me down. The guy injected me the shot
that made me go to sleep. I felt dizzy, and I fell asleep.
(Terry's point of view -.-)
Rachel, you can be so stupid. You could of escaped with you life and go back to your
beloved one, Max. How can you not see that I love you? It's not like I like to hurt
you, I just can't control my jealousy. I watched the doctors gave Rachel the shots and
take some blood. They took a lot more than they need. Her arms looked really skinny,
I guess they wanted payback because of what she did.
"Do we just leave her here, or take her back to her cell?"the soldier asked.
"I'll take her back, she should be easy to carry since you took too much blood from her." I
told them, I was angry.
I picked her up, and carried her carefully back to her cell. When I got there, I saw the keys
that opened the cell doors on the ground. I opened the cell door, and gently put her back
on her bed. She look so peaceful when she sleeps. I couldn't resist, I moved her bangs from
her head to the side, and kissed her forehead.
I walked out of her cell and locked it. A few minutes later, her dad came by the cell.
"Sir, what are you doing here?" I asked him and knelt down to him.
"She caused to much trouble, I'm going to beat her."He said with anger.
"Please don't. She didn't cause that much pain to this company, we got more, and extra
blood from her. Please don't hurt her."I begged.
He was just staring at me.
"Fine. But only because you begged."He said started to laugh. Then he walked away.
"I swear you can be so stupid around Rachel." He said while walking away.
