Planning. You know it. I have to get back up on my soap box today. But not because of anyone else but because of me. I didn't plan well for something I was supposed to do today. Infact I didn't really plan at all.

I was supposed to have a yardsale today. I cut the grass yesterday, decided to have the sale on the lawn instead of under the carport, gathered up some stuff, but in the end I didn't have enough to have a yardsale. I couldn't get any help either.
I need money for that trip. I don't know what I will do now.

If I had planned this a few weeks ago and done it right, I would have started gathering items then. I would have asked the family if there were items they wanted to donate. Like my sister or mother, or whoever. I would have asked someone if they would help me set up. I would have advertised. I would have looked at things a little differently and actually had a decent sale.

I know how to do these things and I know how to do them right. But somewhere, somehow these things get put aside. I have had very successful yardsales in the past. I am actually good at it. But lately I haven't accumulated anything worth selling really. I have a few odds and ends. But mostly what I have is some junk jewelry, a few clothing articles, and some books and magazines. I don't have much else. No man items. And the true yardsalers around here are actually men. Go figure. Twenty years ago you could hardly find a man who would go to these things but these days men seem to understand that these sales are something to behold.

I will keep the stuff I have gathered together and I wll get them boxed up properly. I will keep them together in a safe place and I will add things as I go along in order to have something here in a few months to have a real sale.

For now though, I wil contine to get onto myself. For lack of planning.
