I know its been ages since I have written in these journals but the thing is I haven't had time or the heart to do it lately. For quite a while actually. I have been in a perpetual "Hurry Up And Wait" status. For those of you who have never been in anyway related to the US military this means that you have to hurry up and get to the next stage of whatever and then wait for people to actually do what they have to do before you can move forward. For what seems like forever and what actually is months I have been doing this. Now I have to Hurry up and do my thing while oters Hurry Up And Wait.

I had never heard of Hurry Up And Wait until I became the wife of an Airman. When we first moved to England I learned it in a hurry. I was constantly waiting for something. The doctors office was always this way, but i also found the same applied to going shopping. There are so many people using the same stores that you end up waiting on everything from parking spaces to shopping carts. Forget the deli. I can't even remember if there was one after all of this time. If there was then we didn't bother with it because we would have had to wait forever to get what we wanted.

Now we have been working to move for several months now. Once we got the money people and the bank to do what they had to everything became a quicker deal. We have made many major pu rchases here lately. Nothing new though. We had to pinch pennies because it takes a lot of money to do what we had to do anyway. But finally the worst part of the wait is over. The house is being moved in today. Its finally my turn to do the hard stuff. All of the packing. I can quickly get stuff done now because as i do it, it can be taken over there and put in the new house. i am thrilled at this.
