As the family stared at the kitten, the kitten began to realize that she had done something wrong. She wasn't sure what it was because she didn't know that normal kittens didn't quack.

"Did he just quack?" asked the little girl, holding the kitten away from her.

"Quack?" the kitten said again, as if proving that she did indeed quack.

"I DON'T WANT HIM ANYMORE!" screamed the little girl.

"Well..." said the mother, looking at her husband. Everyone seemed unsure of how to approach the situation.

"Just let the kitten out here. I'm sure he'll be ok," the dad said. The little girl opened the door and threw the kitten out. The kitten landed near a trashbag, and sat there as the car sped off.

Now, needless to say, the kitten was very sad. She was far away from her duck friend, lost in a city. She walked around for days slowly learning the human language and thinking about her master plan. If only she could put her master plan into effect, then none of this would be a problem she thought.

The kitten may have stayed there forever, except for the fact that a girl named Tara walked by the alley where the kitten had taken up as her home.

"I wish I could do my master plan..." muttered the kitten.

Tara happened to be walking by at that moment, looked at the kitten, and said, "What? Did you just talk?"

"Quack?" the kitten replied.

"Did you just quack?"

"NO!" The kitten said, remembering what had happened the last time she quacked.

"YOU DID! Do you have a name little kitten?" Tara asked.

"No..." the kitten seemed ashamed.

"Well I'll name you! Your name shall be Kali, ok?" Tara said exictedly. She had always wanted a kitten, and this was her chance to finally have one. "How about you come home with me?"

"NO! I can't...my plan..."

"Why don't you tell me your plan then?" Tara asked.

"Ok," said the newly named Kali, "My plan is this..."
