The kitten and the duck spent many days together, growing up by the Isle of Gambino. The kitten quickly learned to speak the duck language and became a good friend of all the ducks. But the kitten couldn't swim, so everyday when the ducks went out into the water, the kitten stayed behind, thinking of her plan...her master plan...

But the good times weren't meant to last. For one day, a family decided to go fishing at the Port of Gambino. The kitten was snuggled up in a nest with her duck friend, when a little girl discovered her.

"MOM!" shouted the little girl. "I FOUND A CAT! CAN I KEEP HIM?"

"Darling, don't you think you have enough pets?" said the mother.

"But mooooooooooom!" the little girl cried. "Please!"

"Fine, but you better take care of this one," the mother sighed, and went back to watching her husband fish.

The little girl picked up the kitten and swing her around in her arms. The kitten was too shocked to say anything, to even move. So when the family went back home, the kitten came with them.

As they were driving home, the kitten finally got over her shock enough to scream "QUACK!"

The dad stopped the car, and the whole family stared at the kitten.
