Previously, Kali, the Kiki Kitty who was raised by ducks only to be abducted from her home by a little girl and abandoned, was found by a kind master named Tara, who not only saved Kali, but gave her fairy wings so Kali could do her master plan, which was to fly with the ducks who raised her. You can read the whole story here!

And now...onto the story!

Part 5, When Kali meets a lonely friend...



Tara and Kali had had many good times together. The best times where when Tara would take Kali out to fly with her duck friends. Kali loved to feel the wind in her fur, quacking happily as she flew through the air. One day though, Kali felt an ominous wind blowing...

All of a sudden, Kali realized she was alone in the air, all her duck friends had landed and were taking shelter. Kali was scared, and was about the fly down to Tara when she hit something...something green and scaly.

"OW!" said the creature.

Kali let out an almightly quack of fear. She was to scared too even move, and almost fell out of the sky. Then she got a closer look at the creature.

The eyes of the creature looked so sad, and there were even tears. "Are you alright? I didn't hurt you did I?"

"No...it's not that..."

"What wrong then?" Kali asked with a look of great concern in her eyes.

"They...they..." the creature started crying, "THEY KILLED MY MOMMY!!"

"What? Your Mommy?" Kali sounded sad. She had never had any other mommy than Tara. The ducks had taken care of her, but Kali would always think of Tara as her true Mommy. "Please don't cry...Who are you? WHAT are you?"

"I'm Gwee. I'm one of the last dragons in all of Gaia." Kali looked confused at this, so Gwee explained some more. "Dragons are like lizards, only we can fly and breath fire!"

"Wow!" Kali seemed amazed.

"What's your story? You're a Kiki but you can fly!"Gwee asked.

Kali told Gwee the whole story of her life, quacking cheerfully a few times. She ended her story with this "So you see, I'm really not a Kiki! I'm a duck!"

"Wow" Gwee said, the amazed one this time. "Tara sounds nice. Can I meet her?"

"Sure!" Kali said, and they both flew down to where Tara was napping near the pond.

After hearing the story of how Kali and Gwee met, and how Gwee was all alone now, Tara decided something "I'll take you in Gwee! I know I'll never be your Mommy, nor can I ever replace her, but I'll do my best to help you out!"

"YAY!!!!" they both shouted, as if this is what they had wanted all along. Tara took them both home, and so began the many adventures of Kali and Gwee!
