The Night Of Halloween (End of chapter 4)
Finally Alexial's frantic running ended, she turned to face the distance she had just sprinted and admired at her progress since she was handicapped. Still tired she sat down, panting still.
"If I can run that well, maybe I can fight now!" she mumbled to herself, wishing that Reks could have heard what she had just said. Alexial looked down, "I hope everything is alright" she sighs to herself.
Meanwhile Reks glared at this mysterious woman, she took several steps towards him, smiling arrogantly.
"Oh Rekser, you don't remember me?" she said in a patronizing tone. "I'm Andreal, I used to be-"
"Silence!" reks interrupted her, not wanting to hear what she had to say. "When I left, everything to do with this wretched place is nothing to me! Don't compare me to you!" he exclaimed angrily.
"But Reksy, you can't forget me," she said while pressing her body against his. Now whispering into his ear she said; "You know you still-", Reks pushed her away, causing to her to stumble and fall.
"Give up! I know what you are trying to do!" Reks ordered.
Now looking down covering her eyes with her fringe, she replied by saying; "I have waited for you!". Her voice now distorted and more high pitched, "Reks! Why did you leave!?" Tears rolled down her face.
Andreal's tears were the purest form of emotion any death god ever wished for, it is said even Odgar of the Gods sought after them at one point in time. To others her tears were beautiful, an occasion of spectators and awe, for me, it made me feel empty, I could never bare to see them, I still cannot bare to see them now. I swore that day... I swore to never see them again! But now!" Reks turned around and looked away.
"Why are you hear?" he questioned her.
"They are coming", she replied.
"You mean..."
"Yes Reks! Them!"
Reks turned to face the direction that Alexial went, then sighed. I'm sorry Alexial, I cannot let your emotions get the better of you, It will make you weak, I hate weaklings...
