The Night Of Halloween (Chapter 4 part 2)
Several days had passed since the two had arrived in the realm of the death gods. Alexial after hours of struggling and flustering effort had fully recovered. Alexial and Reks were now traversing through the thickets of a sinister area of woodland. The only sound that could be heard was the panting and disrupting clambers of Alexial and Reks. Occasionally Reks would scan the dark and forbidding scenery the two were journeying through, while Alexial fixed her glance at the back of Reks' head as she was instructed to.
"Reks, why do I need to only look at your head?" questioned Alexial. Reks turned to face her, then rashly grabbed her chin with his finger and his thumb. Instantaneously her face turned red, her eyes shifted about avoiding the sight of Reks, her heart pounded so hard it began to hurt her. Reks brought his face closer, Alexisl closed her eyes.
"Err... What are you doing?" pondered Reks to Alexial. Attempting to hide embarrassment, Alexial stuttered; "I... Err... Uhm.."
"Never mind," he replied taking no interest in what she was about to say, "Now hold still!" Reks shifted his head besides hers then began to sniff the air around her. Now perturbed Alexial became in a larger predicament than she was in before, attempting to find answers she tried to inspect the style of Reks' sniffing, but caught his gaze and looked away again.
Finally Reks stopped and looked into Alexial's celestial like eyes, he stared into them for a remarkably long time occasionally squinting, it seemed to Alexial that he was looking for something.
"Reks I feel uncomfortable like this, w-when are you-?" Reks put his finger on her lips interrupting her. Finally he stopped surveyed the area once again, this time the facial expression represented on his face, for the first time Alexial had seen, was worried...
