"This smell.. " Reks said in an awkwardly serious tone, "Y-your eyes.. " He looks at them again noticing the fear represented on Alexial's face, "A-Alexial, RUN!" He ordered sternly.
"B-but Reks, why?" Alexial questioned.
"JUST RUN!"
"Reks what's the m-" leaving her statement incomplete as she was interrupted by Reks.
"ALEXIAL! GO! RIGHT NOW!" he bellowed angrily at her. His eyes met contact with hers for a brief moment, until Alexial followed orders and began running. At first, she stumbled around, not knowing where to run, this was the first time she had to run from anything ever since she became a Valkyrie. Also due to the days off her feet, the running was slow and ungraceful, in a few moments her pace increased.
That was the first time I had ever felt the pure tear drops on my cheeks, these tears were unfamiliar to the warm putrid tears that rolled down my face in my sorrowful moments. Something.. Inside told me these were hers. It felt as if they were mine, but the further she went the more cold and lonely these drops of water felt, more alien to me.
Eventually Alexial became a blur in the distance of the the dark, archaic forest ambiance. Yet despite this, her figure was still distinguishable, the carousal of moon lit beams pranced around the shadowy atmosphere, lighting up Alexial's radiant silver hair. 'Blinks of light in the distance'.
Reks turned around and threw a large boulder into the murky liquid just north of the woodland path he was on. Surprisingly Reks noticed there was no splash when the boulder collided with the surreal surface of the water.
"I know you are there" said Reks arrogantly. Suddenly the water began to rise, the areas lit up by the moon turned to a jet black hue, eventually the water began to climb and spiral into many different shapes, each one without a glimmer of light on it. Finally it diverged into the silhouette of a humanoid creature. This figure gradually gained color and features. Light now bounced off it like it would anything else.
"Rekser Serapheal? Am I correct?" it replied in it's feminine voice. The creature came out of the shadows. The figure in fact was a female. Her eyes were scarlet red, they seemed to absorb the living life of out anything she even glimpsed at. Her skin was a similar tanned complexion as Reks' was, yet was fair and unblemished. Strands of long, auroral brunette hair fluttered in the sinister wind. Her neck and abdominals were revealed. She wore a silver breast plate and subligar. With no shoes. Like the rest of her body her legs were untouched and undamaged. Reks gazed at her in awe. He then noticed her black feathered wings and smiled.
"I can expect it, after all i am in the realm of the death gods.."
