A Movie Like Any Other... |

So, after going on and on about This is Wonderland, I am now going to complain about a movie that truly disappointed me. That movie would be Troy.
I had watched it yesterday with my mother expecting something really good, only to get discouraged. I mean, I knew what the story was about already. I've heard it many a time and I really enjoyed. But to see it on actual movie... I wasted impressed.
First of all, the fact that the whole story revovled around a war that was caused by the fact that some moron decided to kidnap someone elses wife, pisses me off. The worst part was that the Helen's husband didn't even love her. She was just a possession to him, like most woman were back in the day. I mean, at least Paris loved her. Of course, Paris was a moron to actually kidnap her in the first place. If I were Hector or Priam, I would've slapped the crap out of him. Honestly! It didn't do anyone any good. Hector died (who was the only one with a brain throughout the whole movie), Troy was burned to the ground, in the actual story, Helen ends up back with the Spartans. Honestly, why couldn't he have found himself a SINGLE girl? I mean, I'm all for love and such, but Crikey, to get thousands of people killed because of that just pisses me off.
And Achilles! Damn, I knew he was arrogant, but my god, I didn't feel to bad when he died. Of course, as my mom said, if I was an almost industrable warrior, it would probably get to my head as well.
I did have fun making fun of it though. Such as when Achilles was yelling.
Achilles: HECTOR!! HECTOR!!!
Hector: ... What?
Achilles: ...Did I leave my lance there?
Hector: Why, yes you did! Here! Let me pass it to you, okay?
Achilles: Alright.
**Hector throws down the lance, almost spearing Achilles in the head**
Achilles: You stupid moron! Watch we're you're throwing that!
Hector: Sorry!
