Dreams (exchange 24)
An hour. He would have to make the most out of that. Jaelin sighed with frustration.
"Here I get days off to prevent an epidemic and you get only one hour. I cannot see why you are still in his service." He turned to look at her. At the moment, he felt somewhat insecure about mentioning their dreams again. The thought of sharing a dream with someone wasn't exactly a common event. "I don't like being a dictator with people so I feel I should clarify my intentions with this meeting. I will ask you a question and I hope you will answer it truthfully. Then you ask me a question and I will answer likewise. Agreed?"
She cast him an almost angry look as he turned to face her. "You know perfectly well that I have no choice in that matter." It upset her to be reminded that others could simply walk away while if she did the same the Baron could legally have her killed.
"Agreed," she said, "Do you know anywhere less public we can go to talk?" If someone who knew her or her master saw her speaking to Jaelin and told her master about it, she'd be in a great deal of trouble.
