Wow...something odd happened the other night. It was completely unexpected and random...but it changed me. In so many ways, for the better. I feel like I'm floating half the time. I'll start from the beginning. I was in my house, I go there sometimes just to make an appearance and say a quick hello to the people there. I like seeing how many people flock there. So I'm there and then Dark shows up. Dark_Wretch is a friend I made some time last month. We met in the block right below mine. We were having a conversation with two other people and I got into how one of my ex's really hurt me, and how in some ways, I still wasn't over it. He was really sweet and sympathetic and told me I deserved better. Long story short...we really hit it off. The thing was...I didn't let myself consider him as anything more than just a friend at the time. I mean, I knew I liked him, but there was just a lot that was keeping me from seeing him and anything more...
So the other night be comes into my house and says hello and makes small talk. He said we should hang out more, and I agreed. I told him he was one of the few people I could stand to be around...but then he got kinda serious. He said there was something he wanted to ask me, but that he didn't want to do it with so many people around. So we left my house and went a block down and he started telling me how thankful he was to know me...and how I had really given him hope that night we spent together, and that it's been on his mind ever since. He pretty much stumbled over his words...but what it came down to was that he really liked me...like romanticly. I didn't even know he saw me that way. I told him exactly how I felt...and I wanted to be sure he didn't just like me for the fame or the money I supposedly had [have].
I knew he was sincere though. I knew he meant what he said. And I was so touched...I just couldn't say no. I actually wanted to be with him. I want to be his. So this is where we are now...together and happy. And I'm so incredibly thankful for him...
