Nyah, haven't actually made a real journal post here in a while. Well...things have been crazy lately. Actually...only the RL stuff has been crazy. But today's been amazing, and I haven't even been around anyone xD I've been home all day, I haven't really talked to any of my friends and I've still been having a blast. It's just been one of those days where I've found one or a few things that just astonish me all day and keep me busy and off in my own little world. I know, I'm silly xP
I really wanna get into this part though because to me it's just been so funny. Okay, if I have to be honest, I can say this started like three months ago. I got sick one day and just spent the whole day on the couch watching the Tudors. Which, if you haven't seen it, stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers as a young Henry VIII. I liked it a lot, Jonathan makes for a wonderful and sexy Henry. Now once I was better I got a little curious, so I went onto Wikipedia and looked him up to see what else he's been in. Most of his stuff I've seen, some stuff is really european that I knew I wouldn't care to see, but then there was this one movie I kinda remembered from when I lived back home. It came on in the middle of the night and it was weird as all ********. So at the time I didn't get it. But now that I had time and stuff, I decided to download it, because a lot of people said it was amazing. So I watched it, and I was ********' amazed. o_o I just didn't expect to ever see Jonathan act so gay! xD I mean I expect it from Christian Bale and Ewan McGregor but not Jonathan. ^_^ So it was delightful, and the music was amazing as well. Now once I looked up the music I leanred that is was heavily influenced by David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust thing. And with the new clothes on Gaia, it seemed like too much of a freaky coincidence. So I downloaded the Ziggy Stardust album this morning and there's a list of the songs on Wikipedia. I look through the articles of all the songs as I listen to them. Then I get to the song Starman. I was reading up on it and found out it was actually based off a DC Super Hero. Reading up about that Hero led me to Tasmia Mallor, or Shadow Lass, as she was known as back in the day. [Which was a Wednesday by the way.] So I fell completely in love with Tasmia...then decided to become her on Gaia! =D So that's the story of how I changed my screen name today.
And then whilst I was watching David Bowie sing Starman on YouTube, I found out that Emmy Rossum [The girl from the Phantom of the Opera movie] is coming out with her own music album and she actually has a pretty voice. And one song I've heard so far is SO pretty...and I can really relate to it ^_^;; I feel like that sometimes...like everything around me is moving so fast I just want to scream...
So if anyone wants the song, just let me know, but the album doesn't come out until Oct 23rd, so not even I have a good version of the song, but the song is actually pretty enough to ignore the poorish quality ^_^ You should ask me for it anyway!
