It is getting close to christmas, and I still have not wrapped any presents. Actually I have already given most of the presents to their owners un-wrapped and said Merry Christmas!! They all look at me funny, but that is because they don't understand that I hate waiting to give people their presents!!!
Also, it really really really irks me to see all the Christmas stuff up! All the radio stations are playing Christmas music, all the stores have it piping in over the intercom. It is like, "OH MY GOD PEOPLE IT IS NOT CHRISTMAS YET!!" and it isn't. Traditionally Christmas starts on the 25 and does not end for 12 days, get it 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS that freakin' song everyone sings every year without thought that it means Christmas does not end on Christmas day! But all the stores and stations will stop playing Christmas music on the 26, people will take down their trees and lights, the stores stick all the Christmas stuff on sale, and I am going..."WHAT THE HELL!" I don't care if the 12 days are based on the religious holidays, SO IS FRICKEN' CHRISTMAS!! If you can pretend that Christmas is not a religious holiday then you can pretend that the 12 days of Christmas is also not religious.
I mean don't get me wrong I too get into the Christmas spirit before Christmas, but I don't end it on Christmas!
KEEP THE TRUE CHRISTMAS ALIVE PEOPLE!!!! KEEP THE TRUE CHRISTMAS ALIVE!!! ALL 12 BLOODY DAYS OF IT!!!
