I emerge to right in my journal once more! Huzzah!
We have now gotten High Speed in this little town of ours! Now everyone has it! Not just those big companies and the school, so now I can hang here at home as well!
I finally got my yellow belt in Judo yesterday! It feels kinda funny. I haven't had a yellow belt in almost four years (for karate), but I'm still proud of it. ^_^
Last week, my Karate team went to Ottawa for the tournament. Our team won 13 trophies in all. My training partner even got an automatic win in Shiai! In the end, he actually brought home two 1st place trophies. >.> He's good alright. He was also lucky that he was put with the same ranking belts.
I wasn't so lucky. For once I didn't win anything. Me and two other brown belts from another team, [due to our age] were pit against the second and third dan black belts. Lost the first round in my Shiai (I could've maybe beaten her I I had actually landed my kicks. -.-; ). I did super good in my Kata though, cept for my best wasn't good enough. Oh well, it sure was fun and a good experience.
Let's see, what else has happened... well, the holidays are coming up, and I sure can't wait. Everyone needs a break right now. As one of my favourite books said: "Students are getting away with murder and the teachers are too tired to care". I'm really in the mood to sleep in. **Yawns** I got to sleep in today until 8:30, but that was like once, in the past three/four weeks. There's always something to get up for. School, work, Karate, something. I just want nothing. One day were I just don't have to worry about tests, or assignments, or customers. Ah... that'll be nice.
