He walked! Son of a b***h walked! The judge threw the damn case out of court! Three years ago, my best friend's step-dad tried to rape me because I found out he was sexually abusing her. He didn't get to finish because there were people present in the house. A month later I told my parents nd porceeded to press charges agianst him. Yesteray evening I found out from the D.A. that the judge threw the case out of the court, saying two teen age girls without any other proof, winesses, DNA evidence, wasn't enough. What else could we give them? I couldn't because he never, according to the technical term, raped me. She couldn't because it hadn't happened recently. So, the case is out. And I'm pissed off on many many many levels.
In a time gone by
Justice satupon the hill
Watching how the world
Dealt with all the things far from simple
It saw no fairness
And offered to lend a hand
But the world declined
Judging things it couldn't understand
So justice simply shrugged
Took a turn
And left
Leaving the world to learn
It's own lesson
And never did return
