is there medication for this? i hear doctors can cure you
if you're insane
but i don't think any band-aids that can fix my spastic heart
i don't think any pill or fluid will wash out the shadows
and spiders in my thoughts
i don't think there is a scalpel, that can cut the threads of fate
i don't think any surgery will remove the demon
in my hardware
if there is anything that can cure this
it won't be over the counter
it won't be on the streets
it won't even be in this world
and don't feed me those worthless lines of
"What You Need Is Inside You!"
because what's inside me
is the problem!
if i reach deep, looking for my panacea
I'll only pull out more troublesome pain
