i never want this life back
someone please take it
lock it in a box
leave in the attic
just where it belongs
collecting dust
and useless stories
become more of a curiosity,
until it is forgotten
so that no one else may have it
so that i may not feel it anymore

i never want this time back
I'll tie it to a rock
and drop it in the ocean
and it can spend itself reaching upwards
stretching to it's limits
never to break the surface

i want to write down all my memories
in the desert, in the sand
then i want to watch a storm erase it all
rain and wind destroying the words
i made with my own hands


may as well take my senses too
for i don't want to ever discover
what I've given up
i don't want to take the chance
that I'd want it again
because it's merely the bait
on a hook that can never be removed
forever causing me pain

annihilate me, imprison me
because i have no sense of direction
what i have is not worth keeping
and I'm ready to will it away
keep me out of society
until i can learn to exist peacefully
