If you know baseball you know that its a team sport. I am amazed at the players who selfishly think they are the cause of the wins. They are the ones who are special. But the ones that get my attention are the ones who never forget that they are part of a team. After all life is a team effort.

When we strive to attain something we want like a winning game or completing some other goal or attaining something new we should always remember all the people who who helped us get there in even the smallest way. You may live by yourself but you can't live life alone and you never can live life without some help here or there. There was after all two people involved in the creation of a baby. Life is a team effort.

We tend to focus on what we have done and what we have to do so much that we forget all the things and people involved along the journey to the end of that goal. We tend to forget all the people involved. We tend to forget that life is a team effort.

Yesterday a pregnant woman was killed by a bus but people standing by rose to the occasion and lifted the bus off her to allow the docs to save this poor little baby and he is alive. Already that little one has so many people involved in his life and he doesn't even know it yet. Its a sad story there but there is a lesson there. Where as those people were horror struck by what happened to the woman they saw a chance to still do some good in the world for her this one last time. These people will forever be heros to this child and his family. I am grateful to them.
They actually made a difference to me because it touched my heart. I remember that life takes a team effort.

When you win that sporting event or you get that new job promotion or just get a job, try to remember that a lot of people were there to help you. Maybe it was a girl who answered the phone and put you through to the right person or maybe it was the girl or guy at the desk who gave you the smile that gave you encouragment for the interview. Then there was the person that hired you. It all took a team effort.

Try to remember it was the team member that made the hit that sent you sliding into home.

Life is a team effort.
