All the sudden things have changed in my world. If you have read any of my journal entries in either journal (check angig1970 for daily journal) you would know that there has been a lot going on in my little world.
What gets me now is my dh (for those of you who don't know this means darling husband on a good day and a variety of other things on a not so good day) has lost his mind. His mind? If you read back in my journal a few says you will see an entry about when to tell someone you think they have gone nuts. In the entry you would discover that I have no idea when its appropriate to do this. I don't. I am too nice most of the time to tell someone that I think they have lost their freakin' mind. This is one of those times.
The other day my dh (not a good day) comes home from work and starts telling me how we are going to move two counties away. That we are just going to pick up and move. That he is going to quit his job and we are going to start a hobby farm/homestead deal. Ok this has always been my dream. But... NOT AT THIS MOMENT!
We have a son who is newly engaged. Not the one I wanted to give the nuts sign to the other day but the toher older one. He is only a senior in highschool. Ok maybe that one is nuts too but he really has found the best little lady in the entire area. She is perfect for him. But I digress. This is not a good time to move when it comes to him and his gilrfriend. They need to be together and they need to be together a lot. I can't imagine how I would have felt if my parents had ripped me away from the one true love of my life and during my sr. year of high school. I would have kicked and screamed and probably went to live in a cave near my sweety and never let anyone know where I was except him. I was rather pig headed. However, this kind of thing is exactly what the young man in question is telling me he is concidering he will do. GRRRR!!! This really needs to wait until the end of May when the kids are closer to getting married and they have more things that they can do to see each other.
Ok so the son part of it is part of the problem. The part where the dh wants to just up and quit his job and move into the wilds of this hill country just drives me nuts. First of all I wouldn't even date a guy when I was in highschool unless he had a job. I didn't want a lazy guy. This hubby of mine has always been a very extreamly responsible man. Always! I have to say that again! ALWAYS!
But he has this great plan. He really does have somewhat of a good plan anyway.
I don't know what to say here except this man of mine is getting a nuts sign too.
