I know you hear it on tv and in magazines but I am going to tell you again. Family time is important. Especailly when you include others such as your cousins or aunts and uncles etc.

We went this weekend to go camping. We were only gone for one night. Actually that was last night. It was good. Because I don't get a lot of quality time to talk to my Sister in Law. I don't know her very well. She is of a different age group then I am. But I like her. And I like her a lot. I am glad she is in the family.

this two days and one night activity gave brothers a chance to spend time together. For sister in laws to spend time together and for the kids of the family to spend time together. It was nice to put together the camping spot, to gather supplies, etc. It was good for everyone. I didn't have much trouble getting help unloading the equipment etc when we got home either.

The water was cold so we didn't do any swimming. Its probably because of all of the fresh rain we have had recently. That and there is a dam nearby. But we still managed to have fun.

These times are very important. You might see why cousin Bob does something you didn't quite understand before. You might learn that Aunt Jean is fairly shy until late at night after about 5 cups of coffee. YOu never know what you are going to learn. But its worth it. Families today dont spend as much time together as they used to. I know they try but if everyone is doing activities seperatly and they are all in different places, its hard to get to know each other.
