Oh Finny, You're Looking Very Exuberantly Hawtness Tonight..
Ah! So, finally, the update of my life from the perspective of those in the lovely Land of Devon...

Prince Yoshitaka, a.k.a. Maora-sama, decided it was high time to venture out of the kingdom to do some thinking and soul searching, so she eagerly awaited her planned trip to the kingdom where her aunt lived. Coincidentally, it was also Prince Phineas' mother's kingdom.

When she arrived, she was warmly greeted and fed a wonderful meal, over which she began to explain her dilemma to her loving and accepting Aunt Sophie. Sophie was a great deal more brave and experienced than Maora, so she insisted that Maora send Prince Phineas a letter. Although reluctant, that was exactly what Maora did.

As she anxiously awaited Phineas' reply, she had all sorts of fun with Sophie. The reply came a few days later, and was exactly what she was expecting: "Didn't you cheat on Fletch with his female cousin, Princess Lea?" Slightly distraught, she sent back a hasty reply that explained the truth. After that, they were on good terms and exchanged a few more letters that were mostly pointless.

The relief Maora felt was overwhelming! She thanked Sophie profusely, and was very sad when it came time to leave. She did, however, have the court to attend to back home in Devon.

She decided that since Prince Phineas had been set straight, there was no reason to chase a culprit of rumor mongering. She told Lea that she didn't care anymore while secretly vowing to never confide in her again.

All seemed to be well in Maora's life, when she noticed something disconcerting. While Phineas would now acknowledge her with a slight smile and a nod or a quiet hello, they never actually talked. Maora felt like her small victory was just that - small.

The whole time, Geoff was feeling despair for various reasons known to Maora, and some that probably weren't. She tried her best to cheer him up, but to no avail. Then the breaking point arrived.

He wrote her a letter saying that he was tired of trying to be happy and thus was cutting off all of his friendships, including hers. She finished reading the letter, and was so furious and sad that she hissed "Idiot!" and stormed away. She sat through a budget and architecture meeting while fighting back tears, and she angrily ripped the letter to pieces and crumpled it. Regaining composure, Maora decided to save the pieces and put them back together later so that she could use it if she had to get him help. If he was committing social suicide, then who was to say he wouldn't try to take his life too? She was worried sick, to say the least.

Later that day, she met with him and forced him to see reason through her tears. Luckily he wasn't that hard to persuade, and so she felt accomplished, but tired from crying so much. Maora made Geoff promise to have dinner with her to make up for it, which he did, and that was that.

Shortly after the draining experience, Maora recieved a nice shock. On his way to somewhere else in the palace, and walking with Lady Ren, Phineas stopped to talk to Maora. They had a nice, albeit short, conversation, in which Phineas mimed slapping her, much to her delight. Her day was fulfilled.

To discuss all of this, Maora frequently talked to Lady Sibylla, who was the only one willing to put up with her infatuation and excitement. Jaslene and Nana, who had been her friends much longer, simply didn't want to hear it. Sibylla helped her plot various ways to gain Phineas' affections. The only problem was that Maora now had too many worries to even consider getting engaged again.

Then, hoping for relief from all of the stress, Maora asked Geoff if he would accompany her to sushi, as he had promised. He said no! She was a little miffed and sad, and she didn't get any sushi to cheer her up, but...

All of Maora's social problems were temporarily put on hold as her mother, the queen, decided to repaint the castle and buy new rugs. What a pain! And for a prince to be forced to help, the horror! Her weekends were monopolized by this development, right around the same time she decided she needed a new wardrobe. The shopping would have to wait...

To be continued, possibly.
