Hey, guess what? I'm not ranting. xd
So, yesterday I went to the mall to blow the rest of my money on useless crap. Having already spent almost forty dollars on manga, I quickly assessed that Borders was off limits unless I could find nothing else that caught my fancy.
At first I feared I would have trouble, but I came in by the Ruby Tuesday's entrance and discovered that a store just like Oriental Depot had miraculously opened for the holidays. I browsed the many anime-related items before finally settling on a gorgeous wall scroll that had Kakashi and Yondaime from Naruto on it. I almost felt fulfilled.
I traveled to F.Y.E. next, still intent on avoiding Borders. I ran immediately to the anime section and was pleasantly surprised to find School Rumble Volume 1 right there on the shelf. Overjoyed, I ran to the register and forgot my Ramune and Pocky. Some sacrifices are neccessary ones.
I popped into Game Stop, but found nothing to my liking. I would have hit Hot Topic next, but was running out of time. I gave in and went to Borders. But wait! I didn't completely cave. I stayed away from the manga section like a good girl. Instead I went to the fiction section, where I purchased a copy of A Separate Peace. I was finally at peace, because I've been wanting to reread it for forever... I missed my Finny.
My final stop was at Mrs. Field's, because her cookies are too damn good. That is the story of how Hatake Kakashi, Harima Kenji, and Phineas all met... in my shopping bag. heart
