I was reading my PS Magazine today, and I have to say... I wish I had a PSP. It's a beautiful system with Marvelous graphics and interesting looking games. I suppose the other parts of the system are interesting too, like the fact it's able to play Mp3s and Movies, but umm... that's why I have an Mp3 player and DVD player (though I have to admit I do not have a portable one).
Right now... I as I look at the PSP, it's telling me "Why didn't you buy me? I thought you and I were going to share something special..." No! I do want to buy you! At the same time... my new DS was saying to me: "Aren't you happy with me? You regret buying me don't you? Why? I know I'm not as flashy, but I can still give you the stuff you want!" Don't say that! I love you too!
I really am happy with my DS. In fact, since it was used, I got it 20 dollars cheaper. Still in mint condition. I love it for the fact that it's cheaper I can draw and it has a bunch of awesome upcoming games as well. Plus, it's also going online and will be able to download music and movies as well. That part is available in Japan as we speak, though I have a feeling it won't be as well done as the PSP. Still though... Gah! Why must the choices be so hard!
I've been a Nintendo and Sony person for awhile now (I have nothing against the Xbox, but the fanboys here praise it so much and bashed the other systems a ton, that it annoyed me and kinda dislike it. Plus I already have a bunch of other systems to manage). I had a hard time between the PS2 and the GCN as well. So, I ended up getting the PS2 first and my GCN the year after. Now they happily share a shelf together in my room. Maybe I'll just get the PSP later on in the year like I did with my GCN. I was a little frustrated with the PSP for awhile because once more, the XBox fanboys were praising it and not giving the little DS a chance. So, I gave all the ups to the DS (Sorry PSP. I still love you). Though I have to say, they're both very good systems.
Why couldn't Sony and Nintendo (and Microsoft for that matter) just collaborate to make the Ultamite Gaming system, so I wouldn't have to choose sides all the time? That would make me happy.
And no, I'm not in desperate need of a boyfriend. I'm just very passionate about my gaming systems.
