Yep, I was gone for Spring Break to Montreal and boy was it enjoyable. ^^ I got a bunch of new mangas and a few new anime DVDs. I tell ya, I went on a spending spree. Not to mention I got some clothes and my grad dress (which is beautiful if I do say so myself). It's a light green medieval style dress. I feel so awesome in it! ^^
Let's see, oh! My mangas! Well, here's the list of what I got:
D.N.Angel Vol. 1-3
Imadoki Vol. 2-5
Ceres: Celestial Legend Vol. 1,3,4 (couldn't find Vol. 2)
Negima Vol. 4-5
I'm so happy to finally finish Imadoki. Had to complete by getting it in both English and French. Wonderful Shoujo manga though. Ceres is very well done too. Better than I thought it would be (Of course, Watase just plain 'ol rocks. I've loved all te mangas that she's written). D.N.Angel is a pretty good Shonen manga. Cute in a silly sort of way. Negima I would enjoy a lot more if it was for all those weird and unnessisary underwear flashes. Of course, I guess that's what Ken-san does. This is my first manga done by him, so I didn't realize how perverted he was. Then again, to each his own.
Next... my anime. I got exactly three DVD's worth. XD
-Inu-yasha Movie 2.
-Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Vol. 1 and 2
My IY movie came with a cute little Shippo keychain, which I've actually become rather fond of. Yes, I'm very aware almost all of you have watched it. I actually still haven't watched it myself. Been too busy since I got back. >.> GITS Vol. 1 came with the OST, so I was rather pleased with that, seeing I didn't get to go to the anime C.D store (It was closed by the time I got there). ._.; The second Volume didn't come with anything, though that's because I got it somewhere else it didn't have a collector's edition. If I did, I would've gotten a T-shirt. Damn. **Sniffs**
Oh! I got myself a DS as well. It took me forever to choose between that and a PSP though. I decided to choose the DS because it had more games that I was fond of (I suppose someday I'll get a PSP as well, but until then, DS all the way!). I've gotten extrememly addicted to Sprung, believe it or not. I still haven't even tried my Mario 64 or the demo for Metroid Prime. I will though, as soon as I finish Brett's version. I have to find another person who has a DS here, so that we can chat. I badly want to use the pictochat on someone. Next games I plan on getting for the DS are the Nintendodog, MP and FF:CC. The laywer one looks pretty awesome too.
Bah, look at me, yammering away. I better bring this journal to a close for now. Adieu everyone!
