All every one does is want. They want to be noticed, they want that new piece of technology that will soon become out dated, they want food, they want water, they want a decent place to s**t, they want wealth, they want to live, they want a lot of things.
Since when did we become so selfish? I am no different for I do everything said above, but when will we ever be greatful for what we have? Will it happen soon?
One could only hope, but hope means nothing to me anymore. It's nothing but a wish that we all clasp hopelessly onto with our lives.
Pathetic really, yet I fall into it's trap. Who doesn't?
I'm greatful for plenty of things, for the essential and the nonessential, for the animate and inanimate objects, for the life I live, for the friends I have for the family that are mine.
But when are we going to start fighting for what we want? When are we going to start speaking up and speaking out about what we believe in, and what we feel?
Who knows, because once again, like always, I don't.
