It turns out, even though there are a couple billion people here on this planet, it doesn't stop you from feeling alone.
Technically nothing can.
You know what drives me crazy? The mere fact that I'm always alone at all hours of the day, 7 days a week, 12 months a year, every year. Isn't that thought just comforting? There are times when I embrace my originality, but sometimes I wonder why I just can't fit in with any one else.
Can there be some one available all hours of the day every day, and is excited to talk to me?
I swear, there is no one out there like that anymore.
I am becoming more and more comfortable with the thought that I will always be alone. But the possibility of being with some one fills me with warmth and desire. But I never reach for anything too far away. So I guess that's an impossibility.
