sad Since the tragedy on Monday at Virginia Tech, it kinda has me a bit concerned about whether all Schools are going to be taking more action to make their campuses a better, safer place for their students. Here at VVC nothing has gone down yet, but that doesn't mean that it won't either. I send out all condolences for the families who have lost loved ones in this tragedy, and it leads us all to the question Why? What caused this to happen? I have heard that it was because the shooter got in a fight with his girlfriend and shot her, then went and chained the doors in the dorms and started shooting people. Well 19 people died just from jumping out of 2 or 3 story windows. This was a very tragic incident that has touched the hearts of thousands across the country. I know it has touched my heart to know that there are families who have lost loved ones due to this.
I am going to burn a candle tonight for those who have lost family members in this incident, and send out my thoughts and condolences as well. This tragedy was worse than the Columbine Tragedy in roughly 2000-2001. 32 people were shot and killed and many more were injured. The shooter then shot himself. What a tragedy, I just hope nothing like this will happen here in California, though it just might.
