Take time to fish out the guppies.
Dreams (exchange 20)

Maybe it had been too much to assume to begin with. But the resemblance was too similar to be ignored.

"I see. Well I am glad that your dreams are happier than my own." He gave her a weak smile to try and solidify his statement. But it didn't help his case any. That was it then. He would just have to live the rest of his days with the death of a girl playing every night in his head. "I must be away, as well as you. The day is almost over and there are yet things to be done. Wait for me in the marketplace. I will come to you. I swear it." He bowed respectfully and hurried away toward town. Jaelin hoped his sadness hadn't shown on his face as he left her.

"Jaelin," she said, taking a small step out the door after him as he started to leave. "Maybe your own dream wouldn't seem as bad if you tried to see if from a different persepective... the girl's maybe?"

He hadn't seemed to realize she was talking about his dream. But she hadn't realized the girl he saw die each night was her. She assumed it was another dream he had... not the one she showed up in.

She smiled at him, it was the first real smile he'd seen on her face. It seemed to light up her entire being, making her look infinitly more attractive. "I'll look forward to seeing you again."
