Okay, so we had these group presentations to do first thing this morning. My group volunteered to be the first group to present. So we knew about this presentation for two weeks now. I went in a group with three of my dumb friends.
So the topic we chose two weeks ago was TV violence. I thought up of the idea that since there were four of us, we would each choose a country; a country from each direction (one in the north, one in the east, etc). I choose to do the US, another member chose Canada, another one chose Europe, and then I thought that we needed someone to do Asia. And there's this one girl who totally into anime, so I figured that I'd let her do it.
Okay, so I just started on my research last night, but I got it done in less than an hour. We meet at 730 a.m. because we thought that we'd need to rehearse. So the girl who did Japan said that she stayed up til 3a.m. researching, but couldn't find much info. I thought that she had at least something to present. She was also supposed to do the conclusion as well.
The presentation went really well until we the girl who researched Japan was presenting. She said one line about anime and then said that she couldn't find any information at all. I looked at the teacher, and she was so shocked. My class was dumbfounded as well.
My group had no freakin' idea that she had nothing prepared to say. She could have at least chosen a different country in Asia. But she didn't. And her conclusion sucked. It was basically one line as well. stare
I better not get a lousy mark because of that one particular member in my group. The girl who was supposed to do Europe said that she couldn't find much info either, so she decided to research Austrailia. Why wasn't the other girl smart enough to pick a different country? If she weren't best friends with one of the other girls, I would have said something to her... but I didn't.
Am I being too mean though? Should I be mad at her for not doing her part of the presentation?

although...erm....that statement can be partially true depending on what anime <.< *COUGH* but that's not the point...
