It was uber hot outside and I wanted to work on my tan. I haven't gone to martial arts in a month because other things came up, but I was in the mood to practice my rolling out in the backyard grass. I did the standard shoulder, front, and back rolls. Then I decided to challenge myself by trying to do a stand-by (jumping up, rolling in the air, and landing on my side) because I was never able to do it in martial arts class.
I was standing there for five minutes, trying to visualize which side I would be landing on. Then I finally worked up the courage to just do it... and I was successful! Yay! whee However, I landed on my back and knocked the wind out of myself. sweatdrop
