POEM 30 - Where's the inspiration?
All through Neopia,
News has spread real fast,
On the sweet little Xweetok,
And how long in the fight she'll last,
The battle began,
The day after the bets were stopped,
And in entered the rivals,
And one of them soon flopped,
The Xweetox jumped in the air,
Did a spinning kick,
But its opponent saw this coming,
And soon deflected it,
The Xweetox was saddened,
For that was one of it's best moves,
But it had an idea up it's sleave,
And her power she soon proved,
She jumped in the air,
Over the crowd,
Voices were everywhere,
Some low, some loud,
The opponent looked around,
Confused by current events,
And the Xweetox came down,
On December the tenth,
The opponent looked up,
And the spinning blur,
And it's eye was soon damaged,
From smooth fur,
The opponent fell back,
Crashed down to the floor,
The Xweetox landed on it's legs,
And the opponent was no more,
Gasps and whispers started in the dome,
"How could a Xweetox do that?"
"That Xweetox is extraordinary!"
"God that opponent was fat..."
The Xweetox walked away proudly,
Not accepting it's prize,
Walked away into through the doors,
And straight into the night,
That Xweetox was never saw again,
By her friends or any other,
And so born was the famous saying,
"Don't judge a book by it's cover..."
I totally named this thing wrong, lol. I was going to do something, but then it changed. The title doesn't fit the poem, crap, and I've already sent it in. Wrote when bored for Neopets.com .
