POEM 55 - Fade Away
A smile that is loving,
A smile full of glee,
A smile that's no longer there,
A smile that was for me,
A hug that was caring,
A hug so very fair,
A hug that's now forced to happen,
A hug that's no longer there,
A greeting full of friendship,
A greeting from the heart,
A greeting that's just a reply,
A greeting that's shrugged off.
Originally this started out as the usual 2-line-rhyme, but I decided to try something new. Once more, only one or two other people in the world understand fully what I mean by this poem, but some others might be able to guess.
