POEM 53 - Nervous Reaction
Pass through the streets,
Of the village again,
Looking for enemies,
Or perhaps an old friend,
There's one right now,
You can see them over there,
But they look away from you,
And nervously touch their hair,
As you approach,
You can feel the tension rise,
As you can now see,
You're the one they despise,
You've changed in the years,
But you're not sure if that's good,
When there's nothing but pain,
And falling in and out of love,
You wonder if there really,
Is a god up there,
Looking down on us mortals,
Seemingly without care,
And so you look on,
Now knowing life isn't fair.
Yeah. I need help. My mental state is slowly deteriorating, and the only thing my mates can do is say "get help". I have ******** tried that, and I've tried helping myself, but neither works. I'm afraid my poems are going to get rather... odder within the future. Be warned.
