POEM 13 - Laura, Laura
Laura, Laura,
Why stand there,
Criticising,
Your own damn hair,
You think your bad,
But in a bad way,
But what about Liban,
He had something to say,
He didn't think you were ugly,
Not one bit,
Indeed he thought the opposite,
He thought you were fit,
Ah, poor old Liban,
With his little fish lips,
He even went on websites,
To find some tips,
To somehow get you to like him,
Because he really liked you,
And he honestly thought,
That his love for you was true.
Wrote this because me and my old friend Laura from my primary school were talking on MSN after a long time of not doing so. Ah, old times. And Liban! Ah, ol' Liban. He was my best mate through year 6 and half through year 7 until I moved school without telling anyone.
