When they reached their destination Marie was helped out by Simon. She said "Why did we come here? There must have been a room at an Inn that we could have taken." Simon said "I couldn't love you to the fullest extent. I wanted you to have satin sheets and perfume scenting the air. Not the smell of stale wine and unclean sheets." Marie blushed and said "How very....thoughtful of you." Simon picked her up in his arms and carried her up the front steps and into the entryway. Marie felt heat skim down her arms where his palm rested. She leaned towards him and pressed her cheek against his chest. She smiled as she breathed in his smell and closed her eyes.

Simon looked down at her and smiled too. He was not going to regret his actions with her. For she would never leave his heart only be more treasured after this night. Even though she was engadged to the count she was still not ready to accept it and was doing everything in her power to continue to be free. He deposited her on the rug in the entry and took her cloak and bonnet from her as well as putting his coat, hat and cane on the table. Marie looked distressed and he said "If you want to back out I will understand." Marie said "Never, not in a million years Simon. I just don't know what will happen to me after tonight." Simon said "If your father should turn you away I will be waiting for you with open arms." Marie said "Thank you," she kissed him and he pulled her close.

Footsteps cam towards them and rapidly retreated. Marie stepped back and said "Who was that?" Simon said "That was just my manservant. He won't tell anyone about this night, he is only loyal to me." Marie still looked worried but he said "Come, I want to show you something." He took her hand and led her towards the back of the house.

"Oh my," Marie exclaimed as she looked over the spectacular library. Three walls were covered in books and one held a fireplace. There was a desk and other comfortable chairs along with a divan. She fingered a few of the books before turning back. "Why did you show this to me," she asked. Simon said "If I have my way you will be reading to me from these books as we sit on the harth rug." Marie smiled and said "I would like that very much." Simon kissed her and said "Now, come with me. I want to show you how much I love you."

Simon opened the door to his chambers and carried Marie inside. He kicked the door shut then set her on the floor. He blew out most of the candles but left the fire burning in the harth. She looked so beautiful with her golden hair all around her face and her eyes glowing blue in the light. He kissed her and then said "Turn around, let me undress you." Marie turned her back on him and he undid her laces and slowly pulled the dress down off her shoulders, his gaze caressing her skin as more was exposed. He helped her out of the pool of material. He gazed heatedly at her. She was even more beautiful then he imagined. He picked her up, walked to the bed and set her down. He locked the door and precided to strip off his clothing. Marie watched and sat utterly amazed at the muscular body under his clothing.

He sat on the edge of the bed and said "Marie, you are so beautiful." Marie smiled and kissed him. He drew her close before laying her back and laying ontop of her. She welcomed the weight and the warmth. She lay there aching for something unknown. Simon kissed her again before saying "I will love you forever and a day." Marie smiled and drew him back and they were instantly swept away into a storm tossed sea of pleasure.
