To the person that inspires me to be the best I can be.

The long hours pass quickly, but not quickly enough for my liking,
They seem to be mocking me, teasing me with their slowness,
I can't help but wish they would stop their torture,
My heart is wishing that the day would end so another can begin,
I cannot take another second of this, for my heart yearns to be in the arms of the one I love,
Someday the time will come when I am together with him forever,
My heart needs him with every beat and it would stop if I could not at least have a few minutes in his embrace,
He is the one that I want to be beside for good and bad, and everything in between,
I love him with all my heart for I have never felt like this before,
I miss him so much that I would do anything to see him,
The time I do spend with him is too fleeting, too short,
As if time is conspiring against us,
I need to feel him beside me as I sit,
Nothing is better than feeling his arms around me and his warmth surrounding me,
I wish time would bring us back together so that I would be able to see his smiling face and know that I am truely loved,
But it only keeps apart, apart for so long,
Time is taking the joy out of life but it soon shall bring us back to each other's arms.
