As Hino, Aiyu and Jenny carried Kalt into aurnas house, I took some time to reflect upon my decisions to embark upon this trip. Well, I guess its because they were better than me. I wanted to travel with them to find out a way, a waek point, and kill them then, but now...now that Ive faught for them, theres no way I could ever go back to Kylia ever again. I wanted time to think, so i turned around and began to walk back into town. Mabey they would understand their mistake and not affiliate me with Kalt. I began walking back and was met with a vampires body laying beheaded and bloody on the ground.

As I stopped to examine it, I noticed that it was qwite and old body and decided not to check it for any sign of life. It had long fingernails...so long, they might be even used as blades to one who would know how to use them. They were dangerous, and saturated in dried blood. Leaving the body alone, I continued to walk towards the town, when a gunshot blazed through the air, not about 300 feet from where I stood.

The shot was not aimed at me, but more of a warning shot...A hunting notice to the game before the hunters went on the prowl. I Approaced the place where the gunshot issued from, only to see the entire town, women and children, armed to the teeth aginst Kalt and the others. "Dem Wolves and mages ripped us ta bits!" said one man, " Kill dem! Kill dem all dead!" said another. "Dis ish gonna be a fight dem wolves and demons wont never forget!" said one more man. It was clear that they were uneducated, and I would have been able to take them all on, but I knew that Sara would think that terrible of me, and decided not to dare. I turned my heel again and ran back to Aruna's house, hoping Kalt was awake by now. I ran much faster than the large party of people behind me and got there with plenty of time to spare. Aiyu was sitting outside, nursing the hole in her chest. " Still hurts?" I said to her. "Yeah, thanks Ice, at least I know you care." Aiyu said with a smile. I opened the door to Arunas place only to be greeted by the pungent stench of something terrible brewing over the wood fire. Aruna noticed my flinch and smiled, "Medicine for Kalt.How even a lycan can lose that much blood and live is beyond me. Its nearly impossible!" The medicine was a sickly green color and smelled of dead fish and rotten eggs. If Kalt woke up when he was taking that, hed probably puke.

Jenny was laying on a couch, her leg not fully healed, sleeping. I walked outside again to talk with Aiyu " Hey Aiyu-" But I was unable to finish my sentence because of a shadow brushing through the trees not far ahead. I pretended not to notice, bent down and whispered" Aiyu, get inside now." She looked around worried, and proceded inside. I drew my sword and held it at my casual fighting stance, to compensate for my knowledge of where my advisary was. "If your looking for something, mabey I can help!" I yelled out into the forest. "Im not looking for anything. All Im wondering is why there are humans in my cousins house and why the man I love and adore was found beheaded in this very same forest!" She flew down at me with an incredible speed, almost whip-like and struck a blow to my face. I backed up and took a look at her.

She looked like a common 15 year old, but the trademark protruding fangs told me otherwise. She was a vampire, and a powerful one at that. A bow was slung around her shoulders and a qwiver of blue-crystal-tipped arrows hung from her other shoulder. She wore a black tanktop, fishet overshirt, a black leather collar, wooden Japanese style sandals and faded black jeans. She slung another punch at me and It felt like someone had thrown a 20 pound rock at me. I managed to lessen the blow, using my soerd, but it still was a strong hit. Now I got pissed. I began to slash and hack at every part of her pady, causing strips of blood to fly out every now and then. Then, out of confusion, I pulled back. "Why arent you ice? " I saod holding up my sword to prepare for yet another series of gruesome blows. "Because, " She said " Im an icemaker too!" She drew and arrow and shot it at my chest. I moved out of the way and looked behind me, only to find a section of Arunas fence completely turned to solid ice. "Damn!" I yelled out, and i ran at her for another attack. . . had the door of Arunas house opened and an angry Aruna turned to me and yelled, "WHAT BUSINESS YOU GOT YELLIN AT MY COUSIN?" She hit me over the head hard with the medicine ladel and turned to the girl. I would have to wash my hair 45 times to get the smell out.

The girl hugged Aruna and Aruna introduced her as Raven, her cousin. Raven had not been able to see Aruna for a long time, so it was onlt until recently that Aruna knew that Raven was living in the same forest. While the girls were exchanging stories of what had happened to them over the years. A strange noise came from outside. The sound of stomping feet...the village. By the sudden stop of their conversation, Aruna and Raven had heard it too. Jenny was able to stand and went into Kalts room and grabbed his sword that he had left there upon his first visit. We all charged outside to find bullets balzing past our heads and pitchforks raised to kill us. The got closer and closer...I drew my sword...closer...I clenched the grip tight...closer...I felt the heat off a bullet that skimed my hair...Suddenly a figure arose from the trees and cut the first line of villagers in half. He had deep balck hair, and was wearing dirt brown jeans and had black cahin mail over and already black shirt. His sword was almost twice as big as him and looked twice as heavy, yet he weilded it with such ease. He turned and joine our line at the front of the house. "Miss me?" Lok said with a grin.

"Wow...never seen that side of you before...nice sword" I replied. "Your not the only one" he said still smiling. We all looked forward and charged the remaining at the same time. I sank my sword so easilly through many of the people, easilly killing them before they could freeze. Raven had jumped on top of Arunas roof and was sniping at villagers one by one. I turned and looked up at her, "Dont let anyone enter the house!" I yelled. She nodded slightly and began freezing people to an icy death. She had a sense to her...and I liked it. Jenny was doing surprizingly good aginst the women, childern, and even the older men that stood in her way! The only one not fighting was Aiyu, she had pulled back inside to check on Hino's healing of Kalt. As she ran in, a man, thinking her cowerdly, ran in through one of the windows and managed to get in. I saw this and gave Lok a look and ran inside.

The man had broken a window and ran already into Kalts room. Hino stood over Kalt, her eyes closed, emiting a greenish glow. Kalt Lie in his now blood-red bed With bandages over his chest, legs and his right arm. Poor guy, i thought...until I saw the man, his sword pointed to Aiyu, now crouching on the floor. " Im gonna stick you good!" he yelled. " No! Dont-" Aiyu's last cry was cut short by the blade entering her chest and piercing her lung. Her eyes went wide and she became rigid. I looked at the sight in horror, as Aiyu's blood began to filter all over the floor. " You b*****d!" I yelled at the man, removing all his limbs before he evn hit the ground. I went over to Aiyu to check the severity of the wound. She was not going to make it, even if Hino could help. Sunndely her hand moved and she drew somethnig in her own blood. It looked like a circle with different shapes in it. "Aiyu?" I asked. "With my dying breth, I give you my life, the one who will save this world." "What? Aiyu? What are you-" She slammed her hand down on the circle as it glowed a resonating blue. it glowed brightter until I began to shine with an intensity so bright that I had to shield my eyes. Then, the light stopped and I looked unto the floor...Aiyu was gone, body and soul. But Then, Hino opened her eyes and was confused. "Thats weird. Normally this would take a lot longer to heal!" "Hino..." I tried to tell her, but an odd movement from the bed grasped my attention. Kalt's eyes were slighlty open and he made a loud groan.

"I-ce....that you?" "Yes! kalt your alive! I said in response as I leaned closer to him. He sniffed the air, looked up at me and whispered, "Your hair smells really bad." Then he collapsed once again onto his bed, dead asleep.
